This blog post will be particularly useful for those who have recently done a course with us (now owners of their new home, The House On The Right Bank) and all those who are looking forward to the up and coming Glasgow Event, The Best of MindStore. This mini workshop and the unfolding process will be useful to everyone else too, whether you get involved as an individual, family or business team.

Read it through then seriously think of making an appointment with yourself. Find the space and time so that you can do it properly, perhaps you should arrange to book an hour in your schedule to complete it.

So here’s what to do:

Take an A4 sheet of paper and take a pen or pencil and create 3 equal columns down the page.  Then create 11 equal rows across the page, head up the first column: “TOP ACHIEVEMENTS” in the top row. Now take your time to look back over your life and identify your top ten achievements.  Make sure you consider your family and relationships, career, goals achieved, education, recreation etc, etc. Write them into the boxes in that first column.

Now having identified 10 (or if you have less than this then that’s okay) head up column 2 with: “WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO ME” then in the column below, answer each in turn. As you consider the question, go back in your mind to that actual time and have the desire to remember where you were and what happened and how you felt about it. Think too about the benefits that came to you when that particular achievement came about?

Finally head column 3: “HOW CAN THIS ASSIST ME AT THIS TIME IN MY LIFE” and fill in each of the remaining boxes in column 3.

I will take you all through part 2 of this process next week. For those who have experienced MindStore before, you will know that these 10 achievements will morph into powerful features in your Central Hallway and by working through this exercise, you can improve on what you’ve already created.

For first timers you will be preparing in a fairly profound way by following these four blogs ahead of your course in Glasgow on Saturday 3 March. (This preparation  is not essential but will be to your advantage).

WARNING: The Best of MindStore in Glasgow has the potential to seriously change your life for the better and I can’t wait to present the new and updated material.

New-Year-2012-WallpapersGoal Setting Workshop 3

Obviously getting into a rhythm early on and sticking with it is very important. It’s also worth accepting that the vibe right round the world at this time is similar. There are millions of folks with the intention of making personal change for the better so take advantage and tune that powerful collective energy.

Having identified your goals, you can get started, and if not just go back over my two previous Blog posts and catch up. There is plenty of time, and whatever you do don’t beat yourself up for not having started already, just join in now.

With MindStore we have our system that has been proven over twenty years, with hundreds of thousands of folks using it, that it works in fact “It Only Works”. It is just a matter of following a few steps every day and letting the process work on you.

Get disciplined to get up each morning a little bit earlier than before, so that you can use the techniques. First thing to do is to have a look at your seven goals preferably in your Night Book or in the notebook version. Then enter the “Alpha State” and programme your seven by running each goal through on your Future Screen, and if you have learned it, your Consequences Screen. Once you have done this, you then Programme Your Day. This is a critical technique that we have consistently found is used daily by the members who have had the more inspiring results over the years.

To do this stay in the Alpha State then take each key event of your day ahead and Programme each on your screens. You would list each event on the Central Screen before reviewing a pervious success of a similar event on your Past Screen. Then letting it go blank remind yourself of today’s event on your Present Screen, then let it go blank too before moving to your Future Screen and Programme it going the way you want it to go. Then if you use the fourth screen consider the consequences there too.

Repeat this process for each of the key events or tasks on your to do list. This only takes a few minutes and actually takes longer to explain than it does to actually do it. You would then come out of the “Alpha State” and go about your day. As each key event comes round, depending on how important it is for you, you should build in the time to arrive early enough to be able to find somewhere private to ensure you can programme it again.

On the way through each day, remember to be on guard with your thoughts and words. Being positive is vital and protecting yourself from the negativity of others is critical too.

By the end of the day, just have a look at your Night Book again before you fall asleep.

Remember too, that you can get constant reminders and tips if you follow me on Twitter or are a friend on Facebook or have linked with me on LinkedIn.

Let’s all enjoy a wonderful 2012 and let’s ensure we achieve our goals rather than just help others to achieve theirs.

Goal Setting Workshop 2

This is the best time of the year to commit to a bunch of goals that will inspire your actions day after day.

There are things we know we can do that genuinely help to bring even our wildest dreams into reality.  With our full range of MindStore tools, there is more than enough equipment to make sure you not only set the goals but ultimately achieve them.

Firstly, give yourself the Gift of Seven Goals. Give yourself the gift of actually claiming the goals you truly want, not the ones your doubtful, limiting left brain’s common sense tells you are possible. At MindStore we don’t use common sense when it comes to goal setting. We demand of ourselves not to be limited by needing to know how we are going to achieve our goals. In fact, if you select goals and already know how you’re going to achieve your goals and can write out a full plan of your journey towards them, then you will have no doubt limited yourself in so many ways. Not only have you deprived yourself of much better achievements but you have also deprived yourself of what you are truly capable of, and deprived your loved ones, friends and colleagues of a much better you.

Now you can take advantage of the universal vibe at this time, a time of global intention for setting goals. You can arrange to set the purposeful time to commit to sit down in the “Alpha State” and dare to dream. Talk with your “Inner Coaches” seek their advice , fantasize and imagine what you would love to achieve, what you want to do, what you would like to have, and who you want to become.

Find seven goals that stand out for you, then programme them for the first time with absolute commitment by working them through your four screens ( if you only have the original three then that’s fine too). Now take your Night Book, or make one up as per the instructions in the MindStore Book or just do the following:

Write out each goal in turn on its own page in a notebook. Make sure it’s a notebook that’s only used for your goals and for keeping a journal of your journey towards their realisation.  Get a photograph of the goal, or do a drawing or painting and position it on the same page. It’s best to use photographs, or if you do a drawing, take a photograph of it and place copies in places you would least expect to find them. For example inside your shoes, your wardrobe, the bathroom cabinet, on the dashboard of your car, on the inside of the cupboard where you keep your tea etc, etc. The images will subliminally programme the goals into your subconscious and assist you in creating the gestalt process that facilitates the manifestation of your goals.

Write out an affirmation (that’s a sentence that is constructed using what we call the 3 P’s). It’s positive, it’s personal and it’s in the present tense. Typical examples will be “I am enjoying the challenges of my new role with …..” or “I feel wonderful right now as I have effortlessly lost weight and reached a size….”

You now have a description of your goal, a photograph of the goal, an affirmation, and then you need to commit to a date you want to achieve it by. Write out the date and sign the page.  Over the coming weeks have a look at each page before settling down to sleep at night. In the morning have another look before “Programming Your Day.” Making up collages of your combined images works too. You can also have fun engaging the family and you can have a board placed up somewhere in the kitchen or living room where everyone’s goals and pictures are up there for all to see. You could actually do this as a family workshop, gathering around a table with scissors, paper, glue, old magazines and brochures.

“It only works” and it will work for you and all you love in the year ahead!

sir_ranulph_fiennes_great_briton_sportsman_awardAway back in the beginning of MindStore, I used to hold a goal setting workshop around this time of year. Famously one year, I presented one in the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and the Novotel at Hammersmith in London. I was really fortunate to have managed to book Sir Ranulph Fiennes to speak at these.  As you can well imagine, he was a wonderful inspiration to the hundreds who attended. That was many years before he even considered running all those marathons, and he lifted everyone up to believe that they could achieve too. His story included endless setbacks and even life-threatening challenges during his quest. He let us all see a slide, containing an image with most of his belongings and provisions sat upon a piece of ice that had broken off where he had camped, and was now floating away from him to be lost forever.

He let us all see that if you are truly committed (in the middle of the Antarctic on your way to the South Pole you have no choice but to be so) then no matter what stumbling blocks get in your way, you have the wherewithal to find deep inside a part of you that can, and will find a way.

You can only discover that part of you if you find yourself tested, and that will come by pushing yourself to set the goals that will inevitably draw on all your resources. You need goals that are big and demand that you be the best you can be. You know that you can do this.  Don’t concern yourself about the HOW question when you start out. Don’t let your doubting left brain put you off. Don’t deny yourself your true desires. Think BIG!  Sir Ranulph helped put any of our limitations in to perspective and he perfectly set up all the participants to work their way through our goal setting process.

Firstly we took a sheet of A4 and wrote down a big gratitude list. We identified everything we were well and truly grateful for and each person worked on that for fifteen minutes before sharing a couple from their list with a stranger.

So before this year is out make sure you get that sheet of paper out. Why not hold a small workshop with your family and friends. Even watch an uplifting movie or documentary first. Write out your gratification list. Share a few of your goals with others and enjoy listening to what they trust you with. We then did a fifteen minute listing on a fresh sheet of eliminations. Here you list all those things that you have “clinging to you” and that are actually holding you back. You can’t create space for the future if your energy is all clogged up with the past. So, empty out the garage, get rid of stuff in cupboards, drawers and definitely your wardrobe. (Those flares are never coming back into fashion!) You will have all manner of stuff you will never really use again and it’s best to move it on.

Creating empty space at home and at work, creates a vacuum and like a magnet the space inevitably attracts all kinds of new things to once again fill it up. When you have made the list and then have taken the time to clear it all out, (you can easily do this sometime between Christmas and New Years Day) you have then created a space of expectation, that space of being receptive, of being ready for the new, where you are open to receive. Then you can and should review or write down your thirty goals before narrowing them down into your top seven.

Do take the time to do this to get them into your consciousness ahead of “the bells” and the New Year. I will provide you with “What to do in the first few days of the New Year”, in the next blog.

Enjoy this wonderful time of renewal, hope and wonder.

givingThe other day I was having a chat with Alan Brodie who is the MindStore Associate for Scotland. He was sharing some of his experiences from recently teaching his first few MindStore courses. During one of his sessions, a guy in the audience challenged him by pointing out how he enjoyed being grumpy and having a good moan. It got me to think about it in the context of this season of giving and it stimulated a couple of my recent tweets into the bargain.

You and I give of ourselves every day, our demeanour, our attitudes, the words we use and all the conversations we engage in all impact those involved. A “Good Moan” not only lowers the vibration of the person being grumpy, it does so to the folks in range. Not just through the use of words and content but since thoughts are things, a positive or negative thought field will also have its influence on those around us. You and I know only too well the impact on ourselves of being in the presence of an optimistic, positive and upbeat individual. Likewise, being in the company of the grumpy moaner soon impacts your own energy, drive and outlook.

With MindStore we can choose to be alert to such events and can immediately pull down the “bell jar”, or find a valid excuse to move away from the source of the imbalance. They do say that the real joy of this season is in the giving and not the receiving. Being aware of what you are giving day by day through your presence and purposefully lifting the quality of your consciousness is obviously the best gift you can give.

So does your presence lift and encourage those you come into contact with? Do you create a climate of possibilities and solutions? “Being a problem” or “creating problems” even by just lowering the vibration is hardly a gift others will be grateful for. “As we give so we shall receive” comes to mind. It seems too, that we attract folks of similar resonance, so it would seem that by choosing the higher course by deciding to be positive, to look to find solutions rather than create “problems”, we create the conditions for all involved to thrive and live each moment in a better place than they otherwise would have.

If you have recently attended a MindStore course then you can focus each day through bringing one or all of your five features from your “window” into your thoughts. You can also use your slate in the shower and of course “delete that programme” and your “bell jar”.

In this season of giving you can consider giving the gift of MindStore simply by setting an example or by gifting The Best of MindStore Course, a book or a download.

The Secret

This single book and all of the positive hullabaloo that has come with it catapulted the notion of “manifestation” and “the law of attraction” into the consciousness of millions who otherwise probably would never have come across these concepts. Without doubt here at MindStore, we have the best suite of tools to capitalise on your intention to attract into your life the people you need, the places you need to be and the opportunities required to manifest whatever you genuinely want.

Our Secret is actually the day to day use of the “Alpha State” these powerful frequencies of brain functioning that all our tried and tested methods are tuned to work perfectly with. You may never have bothered to set specific goals before, compelling goals that you readily find a deep, deep desire for, goals that are driven by a profound belief that they can be achieved coupled with an unwavering expectation that they will absolutely come to be.
The latest MindStore programme which I will deliver in Earls Court, London on Saturday 12 November is built around our unique concept of “Mental Architecture” it opens with a brief introduction of our basic beliefs that 5 characteristics are critical to success.

  1.  You are able to manage your stress so as to have abundant energy necessary for achieving sustained success.
  2.  You live every day with an optimistic outlook and positive mental attitude.
  3.  Everything you do is driven by your commitment to achieving compelling goals
  4.  You utilise whole brain thinking and in particular choose purposefully to work with the powerful advantages of using your right brain hemisphere.

You master and have complete dominion and control over your emotions. Then you begin the exciting journey into your right brain via the metaphor of walking into the right bank of a river creating as you go the perfect landscape on which you construct “The House with the Red Roof”. Within the house there are rooms you will find to house the tools and techniques.  The “new” material honors the heritage of the original system but takes it to another level again.
You don’t need to be a seasoned MindStore member to learn this stuff, the very best news is that these our best techniques yet don’t take hours and hours of practicing to perfect they really do work in a matter of minutes.  That’s just a few minutes a day providing lasting and sustained results when it matters most.
If you were a participant of any previous MindStore course you will readily integrate the tools you already have into this concept and of course come away with some more. If you did the Island either online or at a course then you now have a very special place to catch the ferry from.

I can’t wait to share this with you. I am using the techniques daily myself now and have made the transition effortlessly, and honestly I don’t know why I didn’t before now. It is so much better.

Over the weekend, I found myself thinking about the coincidence (is there such a thing) of me presenting the “How to pass exams “day to 1500 16+ year olds in Glasgow back in March and the city having its best results ever.

That day we finished with the audience thinking that very thought and we put it out there. My thoughts also considered the recent atrocity of the young people in Norway and the young lad who was mauled to death by the polar bear.  Cleary we can programme our future, but still something much bigger is at work too.
After all these years and even with the proof from my calls and emails this morning, I just know absolutely and without doubt that MindStore Works, “it only works!”

The young folks in Glasgow are an inspiration, while the young lad and the Norwegians surely remind us to live every day to the full. Going to bed at night and having the final look in the mirror can we all say that we couldn’t have done any better? Setting goals and getting committed really means just that, making sure that every day is maximised to the full.

Time and time again, I tell audiences that programming the day is our most important technique.  You will probably only do it if you’re driven by the quality of your own goals and if not then you are really allowing your day to be programmed by others.
Taking ownership of our day to day life’s seems like never before to be really important. Taking the 10 minutes or so in the morning to think through your key activities for the day and programming the best possible outcomes gives you the edge.  Ultimately your intention and the power of attraction will collaborate to cause you to experience your day in the best possible way.

The fourth screen brings into your awareness and knowledge that being concerned for the benefits of others when you succeed raises your own consciousness and brings you in tune with the vibration of the universe, your higher self, your god, or whatever you prefer to call it.

The future is coming and you and I will live it day by day but never the less we genuinely have the ability to influence it through our goals and our daily programming.

This phrase really captured me the other day and I can’t get it out of my mind.  Having just returned from lying on the beach on the lovely Greek island of Kos, I am over flowing with new ideas.  I had endless fun enjoying the alpha state while sunbathing.  Actually being on an island constantly brought me back to all the exciting things we will be doing with “The Island” when we re-launch MindStore OnLine (we have a critical meeting next week that should finally get us moving again).  I’ve also had serious interest corporately in doing our more advanced Intuitive engineering that actually requires revisiting the landscape on the “Right Bank of the River” as if by coincidence another client is wanting me to come and teach the original “House on the Right Bank” course to his staff and the wider community.  Back to the future indeed!

The holiday inevitably had me exploring ideas for the future whilst giving me the time to re-evaluate my present goals.  Now back at work, I’m re-energised and focused on those goals as I get to work on various projects.

The future is indeed coming, and I strongly recommend that you take the time to consider your own goals at this time.  Maybe you can do as I did while enjoying the rays. All my activity with futurism of late resonates with this notion that the future is coming and I have the choice to let it come and go as it surely will without my programming it, or I can take personal ownership and create the future I desire.  So as you would expect, I’m going to programme whilst using the usual support material such as my Night Book, strategically placed photographs, affirmations and ultimately by taking action.  The future is on its way, so how do you intend to experience it?

Remember if you will that our techniques are not fanciful wishful thinking but well tested and successful means of utilising our ability, our dominant thoughts, through gestalt.

Keep smiling,

Jack

William-and-KateIt  would seem lots of folks really enjoy a good wedding.  It certainly seems to lift spirits.  It makes sense to tune into the vibe of spring at this time especially for starting new goals or to be on the look out for fresh shoots coming up from the goals you set at the start of the year.  Aligning your goal setting or programming at the time of the Royal Wedding will pick up on all of the increased goodwill and expectations and wishes for a wonderful future.  MindStore works and some of this more right brained stuff really, really works… Trust it.

It is clear now that the radiation from the disaster in Japan is reaching out right across the planet. I feel I should pass on an excellent article written by William Spear regarding how we can practically protect ourselves. Here is the link to it: http://tinyurl.com/4wblqew

William is one of the guys that I go to to learn from and he has had a profound influence on my life and work. William, amongst other things, is an authority on Macrobiotics. He himself travelled to Chernobyl immediately after the disaster was announced. He knows what he is talking about and I strongly recommend you take a close look and pass it on to others to consider.

You may be put off when you first have a look but I can assure you that the ingredients are easily found in most decent Health Food stores. When I lived in Glasgow I got my supplies from Grassroots at Charing Cross and here living in Canterbury I can find them easily in the Wholefoods store.

Keep smiling,

Jack
